About

   welcome to my blog. My name is  Aishath Yumna, and I am 30 years old. I'm studying early childhood education at avid college dreaming to become a good preschool teacher in the future. i chose this field as teaching is my passion and dream and also it helps me to release stress and feel more happy when i spend time with small kids.i have 2 years of working experience as a preschool teacher but currently i'm only focusing on my studies without doing any job. in my point of view, preschool teaching is not a very easy job, but if you are willing to do it with love and desire you can do it.
creative classroom

In a creative classroom there should be 4 corners and also the classroom must be very big. The classroom must bring happiness to the children and teachers. And also in a creative classroom all the things should be very well organized. Every corner should have big space, and it should be decorated according to the specific theme.                    Most of the children likes to pretend play, so it’s 

  very important to provide all the varieties such as doctor sets, and kitchen sets which will be needed to play it. 

Blocks are extremely important to children in their development. Therefore it’s very important to have a special corner for them to play with blocks providing different colors and shapes of blocks. It will help them to learn to take turns and share materials, develop new friendships, and most importantly increase attention span and many more.

 It is also a very important thing to display their works on the walls 
in creative ways as a part of decorating the classroom.

Creativity is essential to children’s emotional, social and cognitive development. In a creative classroom it is vital to provide children with varieties such a scissors, different colors and types of papers etc, which will help them to improve their creativity. Natural products such as seashells, sand, leaves, twigs etc will also help them in improving their skills

In manipulative corner there should be activities which children need to use their mind and think wisely. Therefore, repairing damaged things such as small toys like cars, radios and led lights will help them to improve their thinking skills.

Activities to improve their gross motor and fine motor skills.

Activity_1

Children use their fine motor muscles to squeeze the clothespins to clip each piece of clothing to the clothesline. I tied a piece of thick string to the handles of a wooden tray to make the clothesline, and used mini clothespins (although the regular sized clothespins can be used as well). The clothes are Barbie doll clothes purchased at a dollar store. As an alternative, you could cut out shapes of shirts and pants from felt.

 Children use their fingers, hands, and wrists, coordinating both hands while grasping and twisting the metal nuts onto the bolts. 
Activity_3

this picture shows of a very interesting game to improve their gross motor skills  and also it very easy to make. to make this game you only need egg trays and all the children will get body exercise from this game. most importantly they will learn to balance their self on difficult situations.   

Activity_4

 

this is a game called through the maze. and this game helps the children to improve their gross motor skills . to make this game you only need a ball and a roll of masking tape. in this game the children will learn how to move their legs in different ways and to scribble the ball through the maze.  

Observation 1: (drawing 1)

This is a drawing of the child at the age of 3 and it fits into the scribbling stage (controlled of scribbling). As it is a stage when the child draws visual control over where the mark occurs, the child has done a great job drawing with carefulness. He has the ability of controlled scribbling and he has drew circles round to one direction very carefully.

Drawing 2:

This drawing is drew at the age of 4 and it fits into the naming of scribbling stage. He has drawn 3 objects and named it sea and fish. He has quality naming of scribbling skills according to his age, so his naming of scribbling skills has well developed at the right age.

Drawing 3:

This is a drawing of the child at the age of 5. It fits into the pre-symbolic stage. He has drawn a picture of someone sailing in the sea, which explains that he has the ability of drawing pictures which he has experienced and also the ability of shaping and expressing his ideas into pictures. His pre-symbolic stage has well developed at the right age.

Observation 2:

Drawing 1:

This drawing fits into the controlled of scribbling stage and it’s drew at the child’s age of 3. So, he has the ability of controlled of scribbling skills at the right age, the drawing shows his ability of visual controlling over where the marks occurs.

Drawing 2:

This is a drawing of the child at his age of 5. This drawing fits into the pre-symbolic stage. he has the ability of drawing objects, but he needs a little improvement of drawing pictures with people and objects together according to his imagination and also the ability of expressing his ideas into pictures.

Drawing 3:

This drawing fits into the gang-age or naturalistic stage and it’s drawn at his age of 7. It’s a perfect picture of a little village and his naturalistic stage skills has highly developed. According to the picture he has the ability of drawing according to plane than with baseline.
